Product description

Lotus root pickle, also known as lotus stem pickle, offers several benefits:

  1. Nutrient-Rich: Lotus root is packed with essential nutrients, including vitamins C and B6, potassium, manganese, and dietary fiber. Pickling preserves many of these nutrients, making lotus root pickle a nutritious addition to your diet.

  2. Digestive Health: Lotus root contains a good amount of dietary fiber, which aids digestion by promoting regular bowel movements and preventing constipation. The fiber also helps maintain a healthy gut microbiome by feeding beneficial bacteria in the digestive tract.

  3. Low in Calories: Lotus root is low in calories and fat, making it a suitable choice for those watching their weight. Pickled lotus root can be enjoyed as a low-calorie snack or added to meals to increase satiety without significantly increasing calorie intake.

  4. Rich in Antioxidants: Lotus root contains compounds such as polyphenols and vitamin C, which act as antioxidants in the body. These antioxidants help neutralize harmful free radicals, reduce oxidative stress, and lower the risk of chronic diseases such as heart disease and cancer.

  5. Anti-inflammatory Properties: Some studies suggest that lotus root may possess anti-inflammatory properties due to its phytochemical content. Consuming lotus root pickle regularly may help reduce inflammation in the body and alleviate symptoms of inflammatory conditions like arthritis and inflammatory bowel disease.

  6. Supports Heart Health: The potassium content in lotus root helps regulate blood pressure by counteracting the effects of sodium and promoting vasodilation. By maintaining healthy blood pressure levels, lotus root pickle supports cardiovascular health and reduces the risk of heart disease and stroke.

  7. Boosts Immunity: The vitamin C content in lotus root pickle helps support the immune system by enhancing the production of white blood cells and antibodies. Regular consumption of lotus root pickle may help strengthen the body's defenses against infections and illnesses.

  8. Promotes Skin Health: Lotus root contains vitamin C, which is essential for collagen synthesis and skin health. The antioxidants in lotus root pickle also help protect the skin from damage caused by free radicals, leading to a healthier complexion and reduced signs of aging.

  9. Long Shelf Life: Properly prepared and stored, lotus root pickle has a long shelf life, allowing you to enjoy its benefits for an extended period. This makes it a convenient option for adding nutrition and flavor to meals throughout the year.

Overall, lotus root pickle is a delicious and nutritious condiment that offers a range of health benefits, from supporting digestion and immunity to promoting heart and skin health. Incorporating it into your diet can be a flavorful way to boost your nutrient intake and enhance your overall well-being.

Sindhi Beh Achar

Had the worst experience, firstly starting from the cutting of root. I once bought it from local market which was very finely sliced, therefore very tasty and easy to eat. But the bottles received from here seems have the whole root inside, so badly cut. moreover when talk about taste, I don't know what Is inside that achaar that we all had now sour throat. Although we regularly had achar in our meals. but the first time we had it , we all had sour thoart. WORST WORST WORST achar I ever had in my life
